1. Who we are
Set Crafters (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a platform for theatre makers to publish portfolios, resumes, job posts, and marketplace listings. The legal operator is Stolz Productions, a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada. Customer-facing communications and branding may use the operating name Set Crafters.

2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:
- Account information such as name, email address, password, profile details, and optional contact links.
- Content you submit including portfolio projects, photos, resume credits, job posts, marketplace listings, messages, and support requests.
- Billing information processed by Stripe (for example payment method details and subscription status). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Usage and technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP, cookies/session identifiers, and pages visited.
- Communications you send to us, including support tickets and beta feedback.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Set Crafters platform
- Create and manage accounts, profiles, portfolios, resumes, jobs, and marketplace activity
- Process memberships, posting fees, and related payments through Stripe
- Send transactional email (account setup, password reset, receipts, important service notices)
- Respond to support requests and investigate abuse, fraud, or policy violations
- Understand product usage in aggregate so we can improve the experience
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we share information
We may share information with:
- Other users, when you choose to publish a profile, portfolio, resume, job post, or marketplace listing, or when you message another member
- Service providers that help us run the product (for example hosting, email delivery, and Stripe for payments)
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Set Crafters, our users, or the public

5. Public content and profiles
Content you mark as public (or that is designed to be public by default, such as a published maker profile) can be viewed by other visitors. Please avoid posting private personal data you do not want shared. You can adjust many visibility settings in your account, and you can request help removing content by contacting support.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions such as keeping you signed in, securing forms (CSRF protection), remembering preferences, and understanding basic product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the site from working.
7. Data retention
We keep account and content data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for backups, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance. Payment records may be retained as required for tax and accounting purposes. Soft-deleted or archived content may persist for a limited time before permanent removal.
8. Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong unique password and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email chris@stolzproductions.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
You can also update much of your profile information directly in your account settings.
10. Children
Set Crafters is intended for adults and working theatre professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
11. International users
Set Crafters is operated from Canada. If you access the service from another country, your information may be processed in Canada or in other countries where our service providers operate.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice in the product or by email.
